Waterproof bag bike 65L
Seeking new bags, I found what I was looking for at WEST BIKING.
Here is the contractual picture
The side bag is 30 cm high x 30 cm wide x 15 cm deep and weighs 620 grams.
The upper bag is 43 cm high x 30 cm wide x 15 cm deep and weighs 580 grams.
The positioning of the saddlebags is very simple, there are two metal hooks at the back at the top of the bag and an adjustable strap system at the bottom.
The attachment to the luggage rack is therefore very simple.
The top bag can be transformed into a backpack.
The set is connected by a zipper system.
I loaded this 1st side bag with 12 days of meal which corresponds to a weight of 7.5 kg.
The meals are composed of chocolate cereal bars, dehydrated fruits, meals with starchy foods, fruit pasta, all "homemade".
The 2nd side bag contains the small equipment and the rest of the meals for a weight of 8.2 kg.
The bag has reinforced seams wide enough. The canvas is thick and waterproof.
I will give you my last impressions at the end of the challenge.

Hello all,
Always concerned about my comfort during my challenges, I decided to buy two tubular scarves, to test them and to give you my feeling during my return.
These are two tubular, multi-functional scarves. They are designed without seams or hems. They are extensible textiles. The fabric is soft, elastic and keeps its original shape.
I took them with drawings.
They weigh 28 g / piece, measures 46.5 x 24.5 cm

Mini handheld portable espresso machine
Hello all,
A big fan of espresso, I wanted to invest in a portable and manual espresso machine.
I bought it on the site of Ali Express (much cheaper than on all European sites).
The machine weighs 370 g.
It measures 19 cm x 7 cm x 9.5 cm
The design is nice, the water tank and the cup are with a relief surface very pleasant.
It consists of 6 elements.
The cup
The water tank that contains the dosing spoon
The upper base with its integrated pump
The lower base with its pump
The filter
The pourer
For commissioning, first remove the cup. Unscrew the pourer and remove the filter.
Unscrew the water tank, from which the dosing spoon will be removed.
Fill the dosing spoon with the desired amount of coffee powder.
It is necessary to position the filter on the dosing spoon (I cup my coffee with the back of the spoon).
Then place the filter on the base.
Screw the pourer on the base
Fill the tank with boiling water up to the max mark.
Then screw the base onto the water tank.
Hold the machine with the pourer down over the cup and start pumping.
After about 6 pumping, the filter fills with water. Continuing to pump, we finally extract the coffee and we can enjoy his espresso.
Clean everything, be careful the dishwasher is forbidden.
Treat yourself and come see me again at the end of the challenge, I will tell you about this new experience in bivouac.

It weighs 235 g without visor.
The sun visor weighs 35 g.
The whole weighs 270 g.

Sunglasses are detachable. Type Magnetic Goggles Visor Shield, ie by magnet system. This system of magnets allows to position the glasses above the visor when we do not need it. The UV protection is 400 (manufacturer's index).
I will give you my impressions at the end of the challenge because it will be put to use during the 26 days of the challenge.

Bike front lamp
Always in the worry of being visible, I found a powerful bike lamp that is easy to position.
I made this acquisition on the site of Ali Express.
Recharging the lamp is not done via a standard mini USB port.
The orange cover at the back allows good insulation of the port against the weather.
The lamp is positioned on a solid cylinder that raises it to give better visibility by other road users.
The push button of the lamp is easy to use. There is three lighting position.
A first pressure for a strong lighting.
A second press for a softer lighting.
A third pressure for a strobe light (strong light).
A fourth press to extinguish.
The power is 1200 Lumens.
The attachment system on the handlebar is very easy to use.
It is adjustable and adaptable on all types of supports.
The hook of fixation seems rather solid.
I will give you my impressions after the challenge.

Mini bike foot pump with manometer
Hello all.
The previous challenges, I carried my good old bicycle foot pump with manometer, convenient, but a bit bulky. While ferreting on Ali Express, I came across a mini bike foot pump with manometer. This is the West Biking brand.
It weighs 335 g
It measures folded: 17.5 cm high, on a base of 12 cm long and 10 cm wide.
Once unfolded it measures: 24.5 cm high, on a base of 25 cm long and always 10 cm wide.
The folding foot is metal and serves to maintain the extension of the inflator in the down position when folded.
It is equipped with a manometer allowing measurements in Bar (10) or in PSI (160).
The main inflation tip is conventional. It is a double nozzle, the lower one is for Presta valves and the upper one for Schrader valves.
It also has three additional tips for inflating balloons and others.
The grip very simple. The inflation tip is locked by the pivot system via the small gray handle. Nothing's easier.
My front wheels are equipped with Schrader valves, top end. I inflate to 4 Bar.
For the rear wheel, I'm in a Presta valve. I will use the bottom end. I inflate to 4.5 Bar.
I find it easy to use, compact which will facilitate its transport. But as in my other articles, I will give you my final impressions on my return.
